Zeta Rod reaction chambers

Reaction chambers are constructed of PVC or CPVC, and are lined with stainless steel. Reaction chambers are used when:

• Exising piping is of too small a diameter (less than 3 inches ID) to accept a Zeta Rod electrode,
• Piping is non-metallic,
• The physical layout of the water systems prevents the installation of a Zeta Rod electrode into an elbow or tee.

The liner of the reaction chamber is connected to a lug on the outside of the chamber. This lug is connected to a good earth ground so that the full voltage of the power supply is developed between the Zeta Rod electrode and the stainless steel lining in the chamber.
